One of my neighbors has one, parked close to my Peugeot 205. That Fiat is absolutely giant in comparison, yet seats the same amount of people. Which is weird, as the Freemont replaced the Ulysse, which did seat 7 and was probably the better vehicle.
Those Fiat/Chrysler Freemont vans are luckily quite rare.

We got it as the Dodge Journey rather than rebadged as a Fiat version.
Thankfully Dodge Chry sler left Europe in 2011. There line up was awful.

They are just so boring.
They are almost as if someone went and bought some oddball Matchbox cars and then said to a car company to make them full size.

I blame all these on the Ram and Jeep, since they are the only reason why Chrysler is still alive today.

Somehow, sales were up over 5% last year, and they sold 45,000 just through the first half of this one. For an 11 year old design that wasn't really competitive when it was new. Not sure what to take away from that.

They still sell them here in Canada and they are very popular still....I can’t speak to the reliability, but there are a lot of them around (probably because they’re not that expensive)......but people wouldn’t buy them if they were too unreliable, so I wouldn’t call them great, but
for your basic A-B transport, I guess they’d be OK.

Ye', up until 2011. I only saw two Avengers (one was a white taxi), one Caliber and one Journey.

Trying to get into the European market is hard. Especially if it’s American, as many think it’ll be expensive to own and run, drive badly and be made from bad materials, not very refined, etc...
Hell Skoda still has a bad rep after 30 years of VW ownership as a cheap poorly built Eastern European car. Even though the cars win numerous awards every year as best vehicle, most reliable, etc...
